Maine Hikes & Nature Walks

Tips for Enjoying the Wilderness by Trail

Aislinn Sarnacki, a registered Maine guide who has authored three books of Maine hikes, will share her favorite trails and tell stories about wonderful experiences she’s had in nature while hiking throughout the state. While sharing photos from her adventures, she’ll also offer advice for finding fascinating flora and fauna throughout the seasons. 

About the presenter: Aislinn has worked as an outdoor journalist for over a decade and is currently the host of the Emmy award-winning outdoor show “Borealis” on Maine Public Television. She also guides hikes in the Acadia region, with a focus on nature interpretation and enjoyment. Her three guidebooks are “Family-Friendly Hikes in Maine,” “Maine Hikes Off the Beaten Path,” and “Dog-Friendly Hikes in Maine.”
